Hours after her two sons, 6 and 11, have been brutally murdered, allegedly by a person the household knew properly, a mom in Uttar Pradesh’s Budaun is asking one query repeatedly – Why? Sangita, the mom of Ayush and Ahaan, recounted to NDTV the occasions resulting in the crime that has shocked the neighbourhood. The accused, Sajid, ran a barber store close to the household’s two-storey home. He was later shot lifeless in an encounter.

Round 6 pm yesterday, Sajid shut his store and came to visit. He requested for a hair clip for girls. Sangita, who ran a magnificence parlour, gave him one. Then he advised me, ‘Bhabhi, I want Rs 5,000’. I referred to as my husband and he requested me to provide him the cash. I gave him Rs 5,000. He mentioned he wanted cash as a result of his spouse is within the hospital and is due for supply at 11 pm,” she mentioned.

“He then mentioned he’s anxious and the wait appears lengthy. I mentioned it is going to go. I gave him a cup of tea and he went upstairs with my eldest son (Ayush). There he killed my sons. My seven-year-old son ran downstairs. Even he had been attacked and his hand was bleeding. He would have been killed too, however he escaped,” she mentioned.

The household has advised police that Sajid fled along with his brother Javed, who was ready outdoors. The police have mentioned that after they caught up with Sajid, he fired at them and was shot lifeless in retaliatory firing. Javed remains to be on the run.

An FIR has been registered and there’s no readability but on the motive behind the crime. The household has denied studies that there was a dispute between the kids’s father Vinod and Sajid. Nevertheless, Vinod has denied any dispute. “I had no dispute with him. I used to be away for work when he got here,” he has advised NDTV.

Requested what could possibly be the motive behind the crime, Sangita replied, “We’ve got no enmity with anyone, I have no idea if another person is behind this. Javed must be questioned in entrance of us. He must be requested why they did this. Did another person put them to it?”

Bareilly police chief Dr Rakesh Kumar Singh mentioned they’re investigating the motive behind the double homicide. “Sajid was shot lifeless in an encounter after he opened hearth at police. An Inspector has suffered accidents.
