Rajya Sabha MP Misa Bharti, RJD candidate and elder daughter of get together chief Lalu Prasad, gained the Patliputra Lok Sabha seat, defeating her nearest BJP rival Ram Kripal Yadav by a margin of over 85,000 votes.
Nonetheless, Rohini Acharya, Lalu’s different daughter who was an RJD nominee from Saran Lok Sabha constituency, misplaced by over 13,661 votes to BJP’s Rajiv Pratap Rudy.
In Patliputra Lok Sabha seat, Misa Bharti secured 6,13,283 votes, whereas, her nearest rival BJP’s Yadav secured 528109 votes.
In Arrah Lok Sabha seat, BJP chief and Union minister RK Singh misplaced his seat by over 59,808 votes to Communist Celebration of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation)’s Sudama Prasad.
Raja Ram Singh of the Communist Celebration of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) gained Karakat Lok Sabha seat by defeating Bhojpuri singer and impartial candidate, Pawan Singh, by a margin of over 1,05858 votes.
Communist Celebration of India (Marxist Leninist) Liberation’s candidate, Shiv Prakash Ranjan, gained the Agiaon meeting constituency by-poll with a margin of over 29835 votes by defeating his nearest rival Prabhunath Prasad of the Janata Dal (United).
The Agiaon meeting phase, underneath Arrah Lok Sabha seat, the place the by-election held concurrently on June 1, had recorded a turnout of 46 per cent. The by-election was necessitated as a result of disqualification of CPI (ML) Liberation MLA Manoj Manzil following his conviction in a homicide case.
