Mumbai:
A 42-year-old man was arrested by Borivali Authorities Railway Police (GRP) for allegedly beating his spouse to dying after she refused to provide him cash for alcohol, the police stated on Saturday.
The accused was recognized as Moinuddin Nasrullah Ansari and the sufferer was recognized as Parveen Moinuddin Ansari aged 36.
The couple used to stay on the aspect of the railway observe between Goregaon and Malad stations.
As per the police, Parveen sustained deadly accidents and although she was rushed to a close-by hospital, she was declared introduced lifeless by docs.
The Borivali GRP registered a case towards Moinuddin Ansari underneath Part 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which pertains to homicide.
The accused was arrested in Malwani, Malad, whereas he was making an attempt to flee the town, the police stated.
