Madhya Pradesh Police on Tuesday terminated the providers of an inspector caught for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 2 lakh when he was helping the CBI in its probe into the alleged nursing schools rip-off, an official stated.

Sushil Majoka, an inspector with the Crime Analysis Division of Madhya Pradesh Police, was connected to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probing alleged corruption and irregularities in nursing schools, he stated.

In line with a letter from CBI, New Delhi, Mr Majoka demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 2 lakh and was arrested below the provisions of the Indian Penal Code and Prevention of Corruption Act, the official stated.

Following the arrest, the providers of Mr Majoka have been repatriated to the Madhya Pradesh Police and he was suspended on Could 22, he stated.

After receiving the knowledge concerning the case registered towards Mr Majoka, Inspector Basic of the Crime Analysis Division, Anurag Sharma, on Tuesday dismissed him from service as he tarnished the picture of the police and failed to take care of excessive ethical values, the official stated.

Mr Majoka was sacked below Article 311 of the Structure which permits termination of providers of presidency staff, he stated.

Earlier final week, the CBI had terminated the providers of its inspector, Rahul Raj, who was arrested by the company whereas allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10 lakh from Malay Faculty of Nursing chairman Anil Bhaskaran and his spouse Suma Anil. The couple has additionally been arrested.
