A person from Gurugram jumped from a metro station in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad this morning. The person was suspected of killing his spouse and was in hiding after the alleged homicide.
The person, recognized as Gaurav Sharma, was dwelling in a rented condominium in Gurugram, the police mentioned. The person, initially from Uttar Pradesh’s Agra, reached the Kaushambi Metro Station early morning round 10:30 am as we speak. The person was on the run after allegedly killing his spouse, Lakshmi Rawat, yesterday of their home in Gurgugram, the police mentioned. Each had shifted to the present home round six months in the past, PTI reported quoting the police.
The incident was caught on a surveillance digicam on Platform number one, from the place the practice goes eastbound towards Vaishali, the final station on the Blue Line in Ghaziabad. The person is seen standing near the railing of the platform. He crossed the railing and died by suicide, the police mentioned.
The platform of the Kaushambi metro station could be very near a residential space and the person died on the spot after leaping from the platform. His physique was discovered within the parking space within the service lane subsequent to the metro station, with blood stains on the street.
