Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday asserted that his former colleague and Congress chief Rahul Gandhi was once afraid of him, and now he has began to concern his son.

Mr Sarma additionally termed the Congress searching for a probe into his household companies as Mr Gandhi’s “bachpana” (childishness).

“Earlier, Rahul Gandhi used to afraid of me, now he has began to concern my son who’s a pupil. My son is not going to enter politics, then why is he (Rahul Gandhi) afraid of him,” he advised reporters.

The Congress yesterday wrote to the CBI director, urging him to probe the companies associated to Chief Minister’s household.
